Public Relations Veteran Joins BackBay Communications as Vice President

Boston – BackBay Communications, a leading financial-services public relations and integrated content-marketing firm, today announced that financial services and healthcare public relations veteran Jeremy Milner has joined BackBay's Private Equity Group as a Vice President. He brings more than 25 years of strategic communications expertise, specializing in the financial services, healthcare, and non-profit sectors.

In his new role, Mr. Milner will create and execute strategic communications efforts on behalf of BackBay’s private equity clients, utilizing media relations, content development, and a full-spectrum of integrated marketing tools. His clients include Anacapa Partners, HKW, and TA Associates, among others.

Before joining BackBay, Mr. Milner spent more than 13 years as Director of Corporate and Community Relations at Care New England Health System, one of Rhode Island’s largest non-profits. While at Care New England, he managed both internal and external communications efforts for the corporate entity and its member hospitals, and also served as the organization’s government relations liaison.

Mr. Milner received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Emerson College in Boston, where he studied journalism and political communications.
