With the onset of the pandemic in late February 2020, Fiduciary Trust Company (FTC), a privately owned wealth management firm focused on families, individuals and nonprofits, and BackBay Communications, launched an intensive content-based marketing and communications campaign. BackBay and FTC worked in partnership to quickly distribute 35 content pieces from late February through mid-July 2020, from 16 authors, in five formats, within the first five months of the pandemic.
The Stevie® Awards, which recognizes top businesses worldwide, honored BackBay’s content marketing work with a Bronze Stevie award in the category of Marketing Campaign of the Year: Financial Products & Services. The PR Club of New England, which hosts the annual Bell Ringer Awards to honor outstanding achievement in the PR and marketing industry, recognized BackBay with a Bronze Award in its communication campaigns division.
BackBay was also named a finalist for the 2021 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards in the category of Digital Campaign of the Year. The Wealthmanagement.com Awards recognize outstanding achievement, product innovation and leadership by organizations and individuals serving the financial advisor community.
