Gregory Roth joined BackBay with more than a decade of financial communications experience at such firms as JPMorgan, Fitch, McGraw-Hill and Prudential. His approach to communications leverages his background as an award-winning reporter, editor and broadcaster at such news outlets as Reuters,The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and CNBC.
More than anything, Gregory is passionate about helping client companies get the media visibility they want, while enhancing their brands and protecting their reputations. Prior to BackBay, he led communications for Prudential’s pension and retirement businesses. Before that, he led media-relations efforts for JP Morgan’s institutional asset management business, which included the firm’s private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds.
Gregory holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia’s Journalism School, and a B.A. from Duke University. A native of Los Angeles, Greg lives with his family in Montclair, NJ. He loves cooking, biking and traveling to unusual places.
