Ken works across the firm’s private equity, asset management and fintech verticals, overseeing content development. Bringing approximately 20 years of experience in journalism, investor relations, and as an executive speechwriter, Ken helps conceive and create content on behalf of clients, ranging from white papers and research to bylined articles, video scripts, strategic talking points, and traditional marketing copy.
Ken’s client experience includes work on behalf of Adams Funds, Ativo Capital, Athena Capital Advisors, BNY Mellon Eagle Investment Systems, Boston Partners, Clearview Capital, dLocal, Fiduciary Trust Company, Harbor Funds, HKW, Meketa Investment Group, Murray Devine, Monroe Capital, Monument Group, TA Associates, Two Six Capital and others. Prior to joining BackBay in 2015, Ken served as a communications specialist and speechwriter for the CEO at Panera Bread LLC, and before that as the Editorial Projects Manager within the Global Communications and Investor Relations group of The TJX Companies. Ken previously spent over a decade in journalism, having served as the editor in chief at Mergers & Acquisitions Journal and news editor of Buyouts Magazine, in addition to other editorial roles at Investment Dealers’ Digest and Private Equity International. Ken received a B.A. in English from The University of New Hampshire (Phi Beta Kappa).
Ken lives in Holliston, Massachusetts, with his wife and two daughters, where he tries to stay active playing “old man” softball and golfing when he isn’t writing.
